3 Essential Keywords for Living a Happier and More Purposeful Life

Introduction to 3 Essential Keywords

We see the use of “keywords” a lot these days because of the technology around Search Engine Optimization or (SEO).

When you write an article it’s important to know what your keyword is so search engines can find you and relate your material to interesting readers.

For this article, I’m using “essential keywords” as my SEO keyword.

However, I’m more interested in optimizing our personal and spiritual development.
So let’s stick to the dictionary definition: key·word
plural noun: keywords
a word, or concept of great significance.

“homes and jobs are the keywords in the campaign”
a word that acts as the key to a cipher or code.

an informative word used in an information retrieval system to indicate the content of a document.

The three words are:

I go into these in more detail in the video. So please watch the video first.

Then I will summarize my thoughts about each word and why I think adopting them as a mantra in your life will bring about that vibrancy to your life I talk about in the video.

Below is a video from a Facebook Live that I did last week where I talked about the 3 essential keywords.

Essential Keywords: Life Long Learning

“The path of spiritual growth is a path of lifelong learning.”

Source: M. Scott Peck

For as far back as I can remember and right up to the time she passed away, my mother always had a book in her hands.

When she was older and legally blind the CNIB had a hard time keeping her in audiobooks.

Mum constantly encouraged my three sisters and me to read. I remember sitting around the kitchen table after supper as we all took turns reading Robinson Crusoe with Mum helping with pronunciation when we stumbled.

I am forever grateful for her influence.

Books. courses, and workshops, are everyday companions and will be until I take my last breath.

When we stop learning we stop growing and as I say in the video we calcify.

I believe it’s our essential purpose to grow and learn to more fully express what we learn.

Essential Keywords: Application

Learning is only the first step. Learning is useless if you don’t learn how to apply what you learn.

I gave the example of a doctor who’s studied all the theory but never once learned to apply that knowledge to help another person.

How do you learn what more you need to know?

How do you develop a practice if you don’t know how to apply knowledge?

This week’s freebie is a checklist of how to maintain a more positive mind. You’ve learned that you need more positivity in your live. You know you need to apply awareness so you can counter the effects of negative thinking, and your practice will help you live a more positive and fulfulling life.

"You don't learn to walk by following rules. You learn by doing, and by falling over."

Essential Keywords: Practice

My passion lies in practice. Developing routines and systems that help people put into action what they’ve learned and the application of that learning into a daily way of living that brings about change, spiritual and personal.

And more importantly, practices that lead to living that uplifting, joyful, expansive, fulfilling life.

We don’t get to dance on moonbeams without doing the work.

We don’t experience the constant miracles without practice.

We don’t discover our purpose without learning and knowledge.

We don’t get to discover our super power and our unlimited capacity with out these three essential keywords in our life.

In Closing: It's a Triangle

I call this the LAP Triangle. And it’s a magical triangle.

Used together they create an upward spiral of consciousness.

Add to one and you also lift up the other two.

Your practice increases your knowledge and your ability to apply. You ability to apply increases the different way you can practice.
